Count Down to AfterShock Skipton…

With one event over another begins, the CYC team are working hard to plan and prepare for AfterShock Skipton, make sure you don’t miss out!!!
WHEN: Saturday September 25th 2010, 3pm – 10pm
WHERE: Aireville Park, Skipton
HEADLINE ACT:

WHAT: Workshops include graffiti art, street dance, t-shirt design, manga drawing, jewellery making, animation, music production, break dance and circus skills. Bands and other performers will be on stage throughout the Afternoon and evening to entertain you!!

HOW MUCH IS IT: It is completely free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GET INVOLVED: If you are a young person (13-19years) and would like the opportunity to perform at AfterShock please get in touch.

AfterShock Harrogate was a fab event with over 600 young people coming along and enjoying performances from over 20 bands and taking part in a number of amazing workshops such as Graffiti art, street dance, circus, t-shirt design and theatre!!!

Utah Saints back by popular demand topped the bill and were a fantastic end to an amazing day!

The CultureShock team would like to thank all the young people for all the work that was submitted to the art competition. There is clearly a huge amount of creativity and talent across North Yorkshire. All the work that was submitted was displayed in the exhibition space on the CultureShock site.
